your work is always amazing. It is so difficult to review you. I love trains, when I was in Arkansas, there was this crossing, in th emiddle of the town and at certain times, including 3 am huge trains transporting goods used to speed through. I used to stand there and watch them, and wish I was on the back of one.

don't get me wrong, I LOVED it there, but my family still needed me. I LOVE THE BIBLE BELT!!! love it, love it..it was so wonderful living there. But those huge trains were awesome, not a word I use often.

so did you pick the blackberries and raspberries that grew along side the tracks? true story..it was the railroad companies that planted those plants by the tracks. it was to keep from folks hanging around the track. funny thing was it actually attracted us to go pick the berries. they stop that many years and tore up some of the plants due to growing society but if you go to some of the real rural areas of arkansas and mississippi you should still find some. wink

when I was a mature student in East Germany, our sister Uni Leipzig- I was a languages student and had to study there for one year /ridiculous, they just told me they don't like Austrians in front of the whole class, my mother tongue, Austrian, well I learnt a lot of communist literature there, the Deutsche bank ''lost'' my money, so I was penniless. Until I got a job teaching three kindergartens in the city between studying, I ate fruit from the trees, which the communist gov cleverly planted everywhere, even car parks to ensure no one starves. Actually, the asian and african students fed me until I got some money in and the first month of that disappeared too. later I found out they had given a young POLISH female an identical bank card. Someone got her a german husband later, for doing it! which is what she wanted. Not a country to go to if you can avoid it!! my brother is buried under a path somewhere there, with three of them in a cardboard box. German fashion.

I really like the colors in this one Mark. It reminds me of Christmas somehow. The red and blue really compliment each other. Keep up the great work Redleg ~ Top

Gotta love red trains as they definitely go faster - as do red cars :) Another vivid and interesting cartoon with the flower people taking over the world. Lots of fun to view as always :)

A great piece and a wonderful entry for the competition, the light being subtle but an intrinsic part of the piece, with the flower train driver knowing his stuff with the classic "truckers arm" pose, one out the window lol. Great colours, great accuracy, great precision, great humour - best of luck my friend! :)

I never seem to know what it takes to satisfy the picture police and consequently get plenty of disqualifications. No chance of that happening here. A great image with wonderful saturated colors. Good luck in the voting.

Mark,
A beautiful picture of the red steam Engine driven by the flower Folk engineer as smile on his face as he speeds across the countryside wind in his petals. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
