Lovely shot. The vantage point looking uphill from the rocks makes this really interesting. The fall colors are really beautiful. There are some many interesting elements from the rocks, the moss, the blanket of leaves and the color on the trees that it leads the viewer to stay on the shot for a long time. Good luck in the contest.

This is a lovely fall scene. The boulders lead the eye right in. I love the lichen you captured growing on the boulders as well as the darks and light reflections. It all creates a very pleasing scene.

A beautiful autumnal scene in the forest of Fontainebleau with the massive rocks scattered in among the colouful Beech Trees their copper coloured leaves on their branches & making a carpet underfoot that crunches as you walk on it. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
