A very nice rendering that shows this lion in a kindly (almost teddy bear like) light and certainly not as the king of beasts. The technique is excellent and the subtle colors are beautiful.

A great, detailed and carefully drawn portrait of this great beast, using a wonderful mixture of colours to accurately portray the true colours of the mane, face and eyes of the lion. The shading and attention to detail is immaculate and the proportions and lifelike form of his head is great. A lovely and heartfelt drawing done with great precision and effort - great work, well done :)
