It's surprising how much more beautiful these particular TULIPS are in the evening Mary Lynn. Many people would barely give this one a second look in the daylight. Always happy to have you check out one of my pieces and thank you so much for doing up such a wonderfully thorough review. You're a peach!!

I put all my flowers on my rotating screen saver....makes a long winter w/o flowers much more bearable Melinda.

Now you are just showing off...:) I can't grow weeds, let alone something as beautiful as this. I think that The Master did paint it. And you have a wonderful image to share. Well done.

Nicely photographed tulip. You are correct, it does look like a porcelain vase created by some fabulous dutch ceramist.
The color is quite extraordinary. The black background gives it a dramatic pop and works perfectly as a frame.
Well done Peg!

I always photograph these guys after dark Trajan. Pretty enough during the day but the sunlight doesn't let that gorgeous porcelain-like quality show. Do appreciate you checking it out and thank you for the wonderful review you've given it.

WOW! I agree...this looks like it was painted. It is absolutely stunning. You captured it in the perfect light. The dark background really makes this a master art piece. Nature is certainly a magnificent artist. In the way you captured this, so are you. Thanks for sharing. Good luck in the contest.

Well thank you Donna! These marvelous TULIPS don't have that lovely porcelain-like look during the day....so I prefer photographing them after dark. Do agree about Mother Nature being one fantastic artist...great way to put it. You're a sweetheart for sharing one of your gold stars w/ my new piece. Thank you so much!
