Steve, this is really a well worked image that is very strong in colours and contrast and that was your choice. It works because it adds drama to the whole package.

This, I feel, would also look great in high contrast black and white manipulation with great grundge on the sky, try it just for fun.

Thank you Olga. I see that this is well over saturated as usual. I did just now tone it down a bit. Interesting that you mention black and white. I recently discovered that my iPhone can take Noir and Silvertone photos. Well Shazam! Just goes to show that one can stumble into the Obvious. So for the past week I have taken nothing but black and white photos with the idea of somehow giving them that silvery tone that Ansel Adams was so great at creating. In fact I have entertained the idea of doing the majority of my postings in black and white next year. So your suggestion is somewhat providential. Let's see how it works out. Color is too easy and too common. Black and white will be a real challenge to do so as to have a chance of competing here on FAR. More than that, it will be such a wonderful opportunity to really learn what lighting and composition are all about. I cannot cheat on that by using color to blind others as to the Real elements of capturing the essence of a scene. Not sure yet but time will tell. Thanks again my Mystic friend ; ) LOL ~ Steve

All we need is the dueling banjos theme and it would be complete. Wink. Colorful capture Top. The clarity is great. The capture of the light is perfect. The angle of the shot of this colorful SkyView with skyline and water reflection is great. The image is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. Great eye and awesome work overall (clapping)
