his habitat must be the reason why he cannot find shrimps or similar food in order to get a darker pink color;
an excellent close up of this preening flamingo with outstanding sharp details;

    Fred they are actually a lighter, paler version being from Africa. Not sure what their diet is at the local sanctuary. They brought in 5 different ones from the standard Caribbean ones on site. These are Greater Flamingos and also a Chilean Flamingo.

    thanks so much!

Wow! Is that every pretty. I love the shades of pink in this flamingo. The twist in the neck is interesting and the way you framed it makes the composition stunning. Love the black background as it makes the flamingo pop off the page. Nice detail and overall nice photograph.

"Take a Bow" just before performing in this piece is elegant beauty with this animal. The neck twisted like that looks like a musical note that its dancing to and saying that the dance begins! Love, love and always love so much that you do at all times and for that I thank you once again and always! Brilliant Mater Piece,

Geeze Louise! Are you kidding me? I am not sure I have seen anything like this before. I am at a loss for words on this one. The pose, the colors, the smooth textures of the feathers give this an almost dreamy look. This should be seen by others and not allowed to fade away. Is it OK to share? If not I understand. Excellent work here Eileen Steve
