I like the idea and the use of colors and shading/Shadows in this, the lighting is well rendered. I do think that the window needs a little more definition. the viewer of this image should not have to guess what that square represents.
still, overall a nice drawing.

I swear, here do you come up with all of this creativity.

These fellas a so perfect. There expressions of wonder and fright. You truly have a knack for this.
You get the best black backgrounds, which is very hard.
But then to capture the blue sky far away with that lovely moon and silhouette of Santa and the Reindeer.
You have also captured the light from your lamp so perfectly. NO MORE 6's for me......sorry. Thanks for making such interesting Christmas art.

pamela it i always nice to receive reviews cause that helps you in rankings here on this site. but you ask yourself this..if some member never bothers to review any of your stuff would you be motivated to review theirs? im not trying to pry in age so can i assume that at one time you did take a sneak peak in the cartoon section for your favorite cartoon in the newspaper years ago? whether it was 'peanuts" , "dagwood" "wizard of id" , "BC", "Ziggy" and so on..it was there to entertain after soaking up all news of the world of the day...kinda helps on that negative stuff that reporters love to report and folks cant get enough of..geez! you know i have done now over 1000 drawings in last 6 years..only about 500 of em cartoons. i do illustrations for writers..maybe a tribute to some sport event or entertainers..however all my work is done with sharpie and bic pens. this "Funnie Flowers" series was born here on FAR.. i learned that all artist no matter what medium and especially photography that they will focus on 3 topics...kids, pets, flowers...i do have another series out there titled "Strange Critters" but it wasnt as popular as the flowers. you know i do encourage you to go to YouTube.com and search "MKFlood Presents" and there you will find numerous of music videos with wide range of topics and music..there you can see what his old master sharpie/bic artist can do with these pens than just creating cartoons. now if your scared of going onto youtube then you go to the fanmusic side and look me up there and view some of them on my profile page there as well. your choice..my old saying is you are what you are from your last post...since im in a dead heat battle for 1st place here and less than 2 weeks to go seshadri is gonna have to deal with my flowers since i can crank them out as fast he can..wink....oh btw i just posted one out there titled "May The Flower Be With You!"..can ya guess? evil grin..lol..thanks for the great review.

U r welcome. I do not think I am long for this site. But, would you rather get a review with four to four and one half stars or none at all. Here is the problem I have. Everyone thinks all of their work is perfect. I don?t even though almost everything I?ve posted is already sold. So, somebody thought it was perfect. But, I get four, four and a half, three, and three and one half stars. Art is very much in the eyes of the beholder. No, I never read cartoons in the paper nor watched them on TV. What you do is fine. This site is taking too much of my time. So, answer my question and I will act accordingly.

Uhoh...you got me confused with this prima Donna's artist who thinks all thier works is best things that is for the art world...lol..mine are sold too but they were to writer, businesses and yeah a few to some individuals..lolol.. your right about one thing..one man's trash is anothers treasure..sad that you were never exposed to Charles M. Shultz..such an influence on our society.. even at this time if year his classic movie "a Charlie Brown Christmas" has entertained generations of families. Oh and btw did you know that Bugs Bunny is the most awarded cartoon to date..earned 25 Oscars over the decades..plus the next time you go shopping try not to pick out any Betty Boops on posters..dishware... So shirts, etc..cause God forbid that's a cartoon..like what Popeye said..."I yam what I yam"..the points is it is around you in everyday and it's amazing that you shut your eyes and say that..wink wink

Somehow this drawing has so much drama lol, which is perfect for t his scene. I think Santa might be in for a surprise with these flowers. The dark background and deep shadows on the flowers really make them stand out. I also like how you can see Santa and his reindeer int eh background. You always create such fun scenes, and this one just adds to the collection :) I have a thing on my profile page where you can share your favorite part about the holidays, you should stop by if you get the chance :)

This is funny. The detail in the sleigh and reindeer are great. Maybe do other art too, not just the flowers. Grow as an artist! :P
