Very nice! A great almost 3D effect of the train and the men against the slightly soft background. That technique gives the subjects an importance they might not have had otherwise. Really good work!

a very interesting capture with good composition and pin sharp focus; really Something out of the box;

Thank you. I guess I was just experimenting with different effects and thought that this gave it an antique effect

it rather spoils the pic;
for an antique effect, it is best to turn it to b&w or sepia

It's hard work. The clarity is great. The capture of the light is great. The angle of the shot of these workers and train is great. The image is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall

A fantastic shot with good use of effects to create a kind of artificial look to this piece, almost bokeh in effect with the piece nearly all out of focus except for the workmen and the train and tracks - a great imaginative and clever way of composing the piece, it adds a kind of surreal effect to it. The clarity of the men, tracks and train itself are brilliant, showing good detail, and the snowy and cold looking blurred surroundings give it an extra wintery feel and also give the piece an overall nice twist, great work. :)
