The way his head sits is cool, and the added touch of the braid, is so cool.

It is amazing how you draw them with the forms of people.

Haha I see what you mean now! lol. These guys can take on many forms can't they! I had a feeling Daff was a Jedi......something about him....lol. Fantastic piece drawn clearly and with great detail, with the robes of a true knight and the sabre to go with it and ready to go! Great timing for this one. Everyone loves Star Wars. This is such a humorous cartoon that makes you smile. As all of your work does. I like the braid in the hair. It is a nice touch. The red circle behind the flower really makes the subject pop. Nice work, Mark. Keep them coming.

Perfect! If this is from the New Star Wars..I may need to go see it with my grandchildren. The Force Awakens..right? I like studying this one. You have used some new bit of broader line shading in the grays in the white robe. Those marker lines are almost painterly in effect...since they are a bit broken. I like it! I also like the texture you have in the black..not easy to do with a sharpie... nothing is easy to do with a sharpie as far as I'm concerned! I will never forget entering your contest.. geez. What was I thinking! :D Thanks for sharing my friend. And A Good health and happiness to you and yours during this holiday.

i taught my self many technics with these pens over the decades..you know i had with that contest years ago and like you said it gave yall a 1st hand experience of what i deal with when creating..im glad you brought that up..been a long while since i created a contest..i think going into next year ill do that sharpie/bic contest again..ill let ya know..wink. thanks for the great review.
