Have to admit Fred that I am CONTINUALLY dismayed and embarrassed by the things Trump says....and while I normally hold the President in high regard I refuse to even refer to him as President Trump. The only other thing I can say is the majority of Americans do NOT agree w/ him when he says such awful things.
So...your image here. I wondered whose piece it was. I should have realized from the excellent notes that it was YOURS. Really like the way you composed this one w/ that wonderful yellow-blossomed tree sliding in right frame. Colors are just marvelous in your piece....very complimentary. It's well exposed w/ nice crisp focus.
Really a nicely done up image Fred.

briefly, I wrote that to get many comments or win a contest on this site, for a landscape, one must post a pic of the Niagara Falls or the Grand Canyon, not about a country people never heard about......

If ever there is a need for an example of how to frame a landscape this is the take to review.
Your camera technique is flawless. Detail is exquisite.
The DOF extends across the entire take.
You should do very well in the contest with this piece.

This is a lovely entry for this contest. The colors are amazing. I love the clarity of the tree in the foreground. The red and oranges in the dirt and the crystal blue sky is really beautiful. There does appear to be a bit of noise in the blue sky that a slight adjustment with a de-noise filter may be able to smooth out. However, that is nit-picking. You have to zoom in to see it. Overall a beautiful shot. Good luck in the contest. Thanks for sharing.

I missed out on going there when I was in Africa last year but have seen amazing photos of the sand dunes. A beautiful capture!
