Love your text. The photograph composition of large patches of blue, brown and splats of green are not only pretty to look at, but gives a sense of depth. While the dunes are a little redder than the dunes at a national monument in southern Colorado, it does look similar. Thanks for bringing about that memory. Reasons for my five star vote.

This is indeed a colorful scene with the yellow mimosa against the deep blue sky. Even the sand has got a lovely golden color. I especially like the way the mimosa is framing the scenery in a nice and natural way.

Your photo is also nice and sharp and with crisp and clear colors. It is also clear and well defined details to be seen all over, and the exposure is perfect.

The photo is also nicely cropped with a good balance in the composition. Indeed a striking and well taken photo with an excellent DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Coloring is intense. Fabulous display. This photo almost looks like a painting. Perfect placement of vantage point to take this photo. I love the vibrant sky. Great shot. Thanks for sharing.

This is a great contest entry as I see all the colors in nature here and it is unique. The blue sky is flawless and showcases the orange sand and yellow tones in the tree. Very aesthetically pleasing composition and picture.

A beautiful scene that is not often duplicated on this planet. I like the red dunes and find it miraculous that such a beautiful tree could grow there. Best of luck in the contest.

A beautiful picture of the Mimosa in full bloom & behind it the beautiful sand dunes of Sossusviei in that welcoming county of Namibia bathed in warm African sunlight under a clear blue sky. Artistic composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
Good luck in the contest.
I agree with you you about Mr P.

Who or what is a mimosa that you have in your title? Clearly quite a good entry for your composition posted here. Your nice traditional composition offers us a good and enjoyable look at your location. Sharpness and exposure are good. Well done and good luck!
