I think this is a lovely entry into this contest, and the rose is so beautiful with all the dew drops. It is making it look so fresh, and also the deep pink colors looks great . I also think the colors of the background look fine, and when nicely softened the rose is standing out so well.
Your photo is sharp showing clear and well defined details in all the petals of the rose, and the exposure is very good.
I also think the photo is nicely cropped and the rose has got a fine placement within the frame. Indeed a lovely and well taken photo with a very good DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Ah, the classic dew covered Rose. I never tire of seeing another iteration of this timeless take.
The color saturation is bright and bold - candy looking.
Including the three unopened blooms in the frame the way you have gives the very thing necessary for the central positioning of the main blossom - Kudos for that.
The excellent camera technique validates your choice of camera and lens combo. It also shows me you know how to get the most from your equipment.
Your choice of focal range provides a gentle background bokeh.
