A beautiful flower and a very fine picture. I like the colors and the excellent texture in the petals. The image is well composed and the natural background is quite complimentary.

This photo is so beautiful Barbara, and this Peony looks so elegant and delicate with the pale pink petals. I have never seen Peonies like this before, because the flowers are usually much more filled. The hues of green in the background looks so lovely and when nicely softened like this, the flower is standing out from it in the most excellent way.
The light is falling on the flower in a lovely way, and it is such sharp and well defined details to be seen both in the petals and the yellow center. I also both the exposure and white balance is perfect.
The photo is nicely cropped and the flower has a very good placement within the frame. I like the feeling of motion in the flower and also the simplicity. Indeed a lovely and well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF.
