This is a lovely sentiment. I like the shine of the wet rocks and how the darkness emphasizes the white of the feather. The texture and definition of the edges of the feather stands out well too.

I like so much the title you have given this photo, and I also like a lot the simplicity of this shot, and the close and personal approach. The pebbles offers such an interesting and lovely background, and the white feather is standing out from it in an excellent way.
Your focus is spot on and sharp showing clear and well defined details in the feather, and the light is falling so lovely on it. The right side of the feather is perhaps very close to a blow out, but all together I think the exposure is fine.
The tight framing works well and in this case I think the centered position of the feather is good. A lovely and well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF.

A beautiful picture of this delicate white Sea Gull's feather lying on the wet pebbles on the beach shining in the light, the two orange coloured one are very eye-catching quartz. Beautiful composition framing & lighting so e can see every filament in the feather & it's central rib. Thaken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
