This is funny! That is one brave little dog. I like how you timed this to get the swan's wingspan and the dog so close to the water with all the splashing commotion going on.

I am surprised by seeing this, I never knew a swan to be aggressive, the dog isn't sure what's going to happen next! Well captured action shot, this tells a story, I love the subjects. Thank you for sharing this !

Quite an interesting nature confrontation presented here! Your fine composition captures a good action moment! Wonder which of them backed away first? Exposure and sharpness are good. Well done!

Wow! What a great shot! Impeccable timing. Wonderful color and lighting. Great subject. I think my $ is on the swan. He is huge and intimidating. Props to the little dog standing his ground. Marvelous photo!

Fred,
A beautiful stop action picture of the Mute Swan going to attack the little French Bulldog that dares to confront it. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting along with your fast exposure freezing the water droplets & the swan's wing movements we can see both in great detail, taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

I think that little pug is not much of s threat to the large white swan. This shows how big swans. They are quite large. That pug would be pecked painfully. My cat used to get divebombed by scrub jays. Blue jay sized birds. They pecked his rear end. He could not turn around fast enough to get them and they cheated. They had a two to one advantage. Nice composition and framing and good clear focus. Thank you for sharing and best of luck with this image
