The colors of the marsh landscape are extraordinary. I like how the darker area on the horizon stops and the mountains start. The sky is a lovely color and you did a nice job getting the ice on the marsh to show so well.

I really like the colour of the setting sun on the grassland which casts this beautiful red/orange that contrasts well against the blue in the water, I like the bit of grass in the foreground
which adds interest and leads the eye to the old branches, this could be a painting, a serene image
nice dof, good natural colour palette, well framed.

Well this is my favorite one. Distant snow covered mountains in the background resting under that ivory sky with grey and pink clouds that seems to be close and yet so far away. The bronze marsh slowly advancing forward into a pond just behind the in focus weeds and other plants. There is a sense of depth seemingly going on forever while being present and touchable at the same time. Love it. Reasons for my six star vote.

Another nice image here. Lovely light and beautiful exposure. Excellent composition with nice use of foreground, middle ground and background. Your horizon line is a bit tipped but easily straightened. You might up you contrast just a bit to give the image more pop. Really great shot.

A visually balanced capture with sharply focused fine features & textures.

Harmonious layers of natural colors in diminishing perspective.
Nice compositional elements in Vanishing viewpoint.

Please check the tilted horizontal line.

Good perspective & long depth of field...
Thanks for sharing...

A beautiful atmospheric picture of Potter Marsh in winter at sunset the golden rays of the setting sun turning the brown of the reeds orange the fallen tree held fast in the frozen water way in the foreground the snow capped mountains & the snow laden sky making the perfect backdrop. Artistic composition beautiful framing lighting. Taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Great use of light during the golden hours.

I like the near/far relationship. Great focus on the foreground trees, good focus on the mid-level grasses and a soft background. Lots of eye candy.

An image to marvel at. Great job.

Did you have to filter or do anything else other than to focus and shoot to get this great shot? That orange is vivid. And the gray mountains look painted on. Very pretty scene. Nice composition, framing and clarity. Thank you for sharing and best of luck with this image

Thank you so much for your support! I had the benefit of the light from the sun which was setting behind me, plus it was a very cold day, being near the Inlet I?m sure there were ice partials in the air above the marsh, Cook Inlet is just across the highway from this spot.
