Just love it! Great pose from Kaiser. Love that he is so willing. Contrast is great with him and the blue backdrop. Lighting and framing are beautiful. Focus is nice and crisp. What a handsome guy! Thanks for sharing.

Kaiser is a beautiful dog!! And the title is awesome. German Shepherds are my favorite. So smart and I like that he poses and waits for the shutter. This pose is very regal and fitting :)

Excellent choice of subject.
An interesting initial impact.
Sharply focused. Fine features & textures.
I'd consider cropping half of the negative space to give good perspective of directional movement in front of the canine subject.
Why not capture more on the right frame--distracting elements?!?
Good perspective & long depth of field...

Thanks so much! I appreciate your thoughts and suggestions , I normally don?t Center my subject this much, but for this I just felt that it worked to show Kaiser?s willingness to participate, leaving so much space around him ( for me ) supports that he posses like this without me being very close.

Sounds like he is a natural born star! How did he get all the way from Germany to Alaska? Seriously though you have a fine shot here which is well composed, sharp and has good exposure. Nicely done!

It is so nice to see this photo because Kaiser reminds me so much about the dog I had called King. It is so many years ago since he died, but when seeing this, I realize that I still miss him. You have pictured Kaiser so well and he is for sure a rock star.
Kaiser is standing out sharp and well defined against the blue sky, and the exposure is perfect.
I also like the format and the framing because it lets us see quite a lot of the nature in the background. I think this is a lovely and well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF.

I have a Chihuahua who thinks he is a Pit Bull. I trained him using two words when I pose him..
Leave it.. after the shot he knows he can move. Works at the vets when he gets his yearly shots too.
Kaiser is Handsome boy as he gives you his best regal pose on top of the rock.
We had a shepherd growing up for 16 yrs.
Beautiful view Pat with the added bonus of your Best Friend ;)

Oh how I know the mentality of the little breeds, they seriously think they are much larger , tougher and stronger then is true😀😀 I have owned a chihuahua and he was the same! Thank you so much for your support!
