I like everything about this photo, but first and foremost the simplicity and the limited color pallet. I also think the editing is great because it has brought out such fine textures in the icy pond, and lovely blue drop shadows around the scull.

This is also a nice and sharp photo showing such clear and well defined details in the scull and antlers, and the exposure is perfect.

The format and framing is perfect and the scull has got a perfect placement within the frame. This is indeed a lovely, creative and truly well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF.

A very interesting story and very interesting work! I like the way you have composed this, good color tones in background, good detail in subject. Very well presented.

Those antlers are impressive. So, the topaz filter allowed you to make the skull the same color of the pond or is that the sky reflecting on ice? Nice composition and framing. Sharp focus. Thank you for sharing and best of luck with this image
