Perfect timing getting this shot of the bird getting his peanut. I am amazed that they eat them, since I am used to seeing squirrels get all the nuts. Wonderful detail and clarity in this darker bird with beautifully detailed blue
feathers.

Pat,
A wonderful close up of the Stella Jay it's creat feathers raised & the sunlight showing of the iridescent beauty of it's black & peacock blue plumage & catching the glint in it's eye as it picks up the while pea nut shell & all. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

This is a beautiful bird both in photographic terms but also in actual fact. I have never seen this species. It's like a black Blue Jay - fabulous.

Over the top super camera settings give it high visual impact.

The bird fills the frame nicely - well done with cropping.

The DOF has all of the bird in sharp focus.

The eye is well exposed and prominent with a catch light.

This is really good ... B-)) Bob
