Pat,
A beautiful picture of the Marina harbour with numerous yachts moored there the reflections of the boats & masts mirrored in the glass like surface of the water, along with the grey overcast sky above. It has the appearance of a watercolour painting. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

You are a really good photographer. I do not think I have ever seen a blurred image from you. Nice composition and framing. Crisp sharp focus. Balance and harmony. It is also an interesting harbor with all of those lanes. Thank you for sharing and best of luck with this image

This is really a remarkable photograph of this boat harbor. At first I thought it was a detailed drawing or paint because of its unusual softness. When I blew it up I was amazed at all the intricate detail in this.
Lovely reflections and color in this well presented view of the harbor. Wonderful work.

A very well composed shot. I especially like the reflections. The HDR treatment gives it an almost supernatural look that goes nicely with the saturated colors.

Very tranquil view of the harbour at Homer with mostly fishing boats. Love all the patterns made by the masts and their reflections in the still water. The odd splashes of colour from some of the boats create great contrast to the overall blue tinge. Very good lighting and focus. Lovely composition. Suzanne

Hi alaskapat, this is a most interesting photo of Homer boat harbor.. Indeed the calm day makes good use of the reflections in the water which add depth to your photo, as do the reflections of the boats dotted around the harbor. Great assortment of colours amongst the boats bring appeal to the setting also. It is effective how you have taken the shot with a more spacious area of water in the foreground and crowding of vessels as they spread towards the back of the jetty.. this is pleasing to the eye and allows me to focus in on the reflections more.
The calmness on the water gives rise to a peaceful day in Homer Harbour. thanks for sharing. cheers mel

Wow, that filter seems to have given the scene a painted appearance. I like how it clarifies the reflections on the water and gives the colors an extra flair.

Cool,Pat!
On seeing the title of this fine looking photo I thought of Dutch Harbor out in the Aleutians but that's prob'ly a long way from Homer, right?
Anyhow this calm little harbor that you've presented us with looks Great!
