A beautiful scene that is perfectly composed. The light is exceptional and the colors could not be more appealing. I would probably miss this scene in my hurry to get down the lake and look for shore birds.

This is really a beautiful photograph of this landscape with incredible color in the water. I love how it appears to be blended like a painting.
The lighting is fantastic and the detail captured is amazing.
A beautiful scene, a framer, and a real pleasure to view.
Great shot!

what a superb photo Envision. the exposure is great and the depth of view excellent. I love how you border both left and right side of the photo with greenery and land mass. It serves well as a good contrast to that beautiful river and its stunning blue tones.. The angle of the photo allows us to see the light shimmering on its surface and creating further colour tones which are a visual display of sheer beauty. The darker blue line of water that meets the horizon, gives a nice break between the river and the scattered clouds in the background sky. A delightful photo and a real joy to review. thanks for sharing. cheers mel

I'm sure the water here is brackish, isn't it?

A cool capture with refreshing bodies of water...
Sharply focused bay, river banks, greeneries & skyline.
Fantabulous compositional elements!
Subtle illumination.
Ideal balanced framing.

Good perspective & long depth of field...

Thanks for sharing...

Thank you for your nice comments! Lake Superior is actually by surface area, the largest freshwater lake in the world. It's area size is almost 38,000 miles.

This is just beautiful! I'd love to be here to search for agates, it's well focused with good clarity, the colors are natural, it looks like autumn. Well composed with perfect placement of your horizon line, well presented and a pleasure to view!
