I hope you stay stocked w/ wood and stay warm the remainder of the cold weather. I see you're really getting it big time from looking at TWC. Good photo; the wood stands out nicely; like the snow covered trees; it all brings out the dull sky; the tree on the left w/ no leaves even stands out; I like your floral pics but this is a good switch. Take care.

You're welcome. Hadn't been much Sun here. It is warming up though. The next few days we're supposed to have 70s and 80s. The North is really getting it bad this year.

Oh you are a sweetie Dale. Have had some sort of mid-winter 'thing' and your review and shiny gold star has really cheered me up and made me feel better. Been a little behind w/ reviewing too I'm afraid but WILL get caught up and check out your new pieces. Thank you so much for this my friend.

Wow BB I did not realize how much firewood that it takes to make it through the winter. Did you cut all that yourself, or did Paul Bunyan Come in and lend a hand? I like the contrast of the green trees and the brown wood. It makes for such an eye catching scene. I would come up and cut some more for you but it is so hard to get out of the poolside lounge chair. It takes a lot of effort and I am weak. I know you will understand and not hold it against me. Well it is time to go to the beach and see if I can get some more pictures. Take care BB stay warm. Love you. BB

aww BB I could so use a warm sunny beach. Been seriously under the weather up here. I see you posted your Buzzard and promise to review him. I've behind reviewing this past week. Thank you so much for checking this one out and yes, I do all the stacking but not all the cutting. I have a wood guy who dumps it by the cord out near the wood shed. Wood is a ton of work. Anyway BB. Chit chat soon, OK?

Cool photo here,Deb!
Over here in the woods of the former Dutch colony of New Netherlands we generally just 'swear vile oaths' regarding just about everything all through the Winter ( and for most of the Summer too, come to think of it!
: ) ) but I can dig what you're talkin' about! ( When the cold weather goes on and on and the firewood and the food stores run low the Wee Dee Gaa gains power and draws closer and closer to the dark long houses! : ( Lets hope that Spring comes soon! )
Hey,I'm starting to 'babble mindlessly' again! : )
I'll quit while I'm ahead and just say 'Good Show',my friend!

I think your Wee Dee Gaa has visited some sort of nasty lung thing on me Sean. Did you send him this way?? Anyway, I see you've had a new post or two and promise to check them out once I've sent your Wee Dee Gaa the hell out of here. LOL Yes, I've been miserable...spring would make me so very happy. Thank you so much for having a look at this one. I am always happy to see YOU at the end of a review.

I hope you're feeling better,Deb! : )
And I'd love hearing your thoughts on my latest 'Dark Angel' drawing! ( That one got some 'mixed reviews' that were actually sort of confusing! : ) )

A bit better today Sean...finally and am most definitely going to check her out today.

Awesome,Deb! : )

So, you live in Vermont. No wonder you have so much snow. This is a nice composition and is framed well. I liken how the wood is protected by that little overhang so there is no snow in the woodpile. Guess you do not want the wood to get wet and then rot inside. Thank you for sharing and best of luck with this image

LOL...that's right Pam. There is NOTHING worse than trying to keep the house warm using wet wood! Don't get nearly the amount of heat out of a chunk of wet wood. ...and yes, Vermont....that's what all the snow is about lol Do appreciate you checking this one out and thank you for the very nice review you've given it.

I love the composition of this pretty winter landscape photo. You can see all the details of the trees, rocks and wood pile. I enjoyed reading your artist notes you have attached.

Great notes, as always, Deborah. Looks like a lot of wood to me, but up there you may need some even into May. Anyway, a great rustic shot; beautifully composed with perfect position of the wood shed in the frame and the lovely arc of trees overlooking it. Well done! Ed

Oh yes Ed. I sill build a fire in the evening...at least in early May. But I am over halfway through the wood burning season now YIPEEEEE!!! I'd much prefer to spend my time w/ the flowers. Always happy to find you at the end of a review Ed. Thank you for having a look at this one. I have had some sort of nasty lung deal and haven't done much reviewing lately but did notice you had a new piece up the other day and promise to check it out.

Ooh, get better soon. Weird things going around. Pat had a sore throat and odd sounding laryngitis for almost a month.
-
Yeah...it's some kind of nasty lung thing. Thank you dear Ed and I hope Pat feels better soon too. I am in desperate need of spring I think.

I love this! I loved your story too! The wood shed gives scale to the very tall trees, this is well composed with good focus, natural colors and tones, beautiful snow flicked trees, the Firewood neatly stacked. I love the title too!
