This is really a lovely translucent post showing the papery fragility of this flower.
The dynamic entry of flower and original point of view gives power to the post and the little sister in the background gives more story and she too looks fragile.
Your tonal contrasts are good with bias towards gray.
Some may tell you that a bit more room at the top would have given a greater sense of grandeur.
Nice detail of veins showing through, sharpnessfocus is well done.

This is a good entry for the contest. The multiple gradations of color in the petals surprised me. Good job choosing this subject for your black and white photo. The very light flower below and very dark buds complete a very nice composition that is well framed. Thank you for sharing and best of luck with this image
