They're both striking red cardinals!
But this one has a cooler backdrop!
Sharply focused.
Fine bright red plumage pops out from the monochromatic frame.

Initial impact: What a gorgeous bird! This red cardinal is perfectly placed in frame, he really stands out in this gray winter surrounding, it's well focused considering its shot through the glass, there's good detail in his feathers , good eye contact too, natural color, well exposed, it's always a treat for me to view these because we don't have them here in Alaska. Very well presented!

Initial impact: What a gorgeous bird! This red cardinal is perfectly placed in frame, he really stands out in this gray winter surrounding, it's well focused considering its shot through the glass, there's good detail in his feathers , good eye contact too, natural color, well exposed, it's always a treat for me to view these because we don't have them here in Alaska. Very well presented!

A beautiful male cardinal with great color. I like the cropping and the catchlight in the eye. Quite a sharp image for being shot through the window.

I love when you see a big, fat, red cardinal in the winter sitting on a snow covered branch. I have only witnessed it once and it was a site to see. Only I didn't have my camera. You have captured it perfectly. Love it.
