I get a twinge of homesickness when I happen upon these posts of yours.

This is award winning photography in my eyes. Sharp through the planes of the image with excellent rendering of contrasts yet showing depth and detail within the shadow aspects.

Colour saturation has been kept natural. Lead lines accounted for and horizontal cut rule applied. Consideration also given to rule of 3. Technically and artistically a very strong image.

The road above (is that the "top of the world" road) catches the eye by surprise. The reflections are superb and the ripples on the water give a real artistic feel.

This would have won the reflections contest I'm sure. Please consider entering your work.

I have no 6 stars left but you have just received a Cyber 6.

A beautiful scene that is superbly composed. I like the color of the trees and the mountains in the background. The reflection is very nice too.

Nicely captured image! The diagonal leading line works well to pull you through the scene as it disappears around the bend. There is a very nice feeling of the environment in the shot The rough reflection, as opposed to the usual glassy surface shots, also gives a different feeling to the shot. I find the roadway in the background somewhat distracting and wonder if it could be cloned out to make a cleaner shot. I also find the rock in the water distracting, but see why it should be there, maybe just toning it down a little would make it less noticeable. Overall this is a very pleasing landscape.

This is a beautiful capture of an interesting place.

The camera technique is top notch with good color and contrast throughout.

The piece is well framed and is well presented for maximum visual interest and impact.

The reflective properties of the water are grand. The bit of rippling only makes this take more life like. The yellow grasses jutting out and pointing at the mountains has a perfect reflection in the water.

You have just enough of the cloudy sky to mark the upper limits of the take - well done.

An idyllic and enchanting scene from the 49th state ... B-)) Bob

Overall a nice quiet scene with good leading lines. Muted colors are restful. I think that the very bright foreground is distracting. I think that the appeal of this image would be enhanced by cropping the foreground significantly

A beautiful tranquil scene captured showing gorgeous clear reflections in the Lake. I like the angle you used for this, looking down the Lake and inviting the viewer to travel along it to see what's round the bend. Very good lighting and focus showing a crisp image. Lovely composition. Suzanne
