This is a great view of the branches and roots of this gnarled tree! Great sharpness and beautiful desert colors. I would like to see the top of the tree but sometimes you can't have everything!

This is a pretty cool looking picture especially of the roots...for me, it could be cropped a little at the bottom, but again, thats just me. out of curiosity, did you have the top of the tree in the picture or was it cropped out.

A beautiful image that is well composed and shows the foreground in sharp detail. The old tree is eye catching and the colors could not be nicer.

Very many thanks for your kind review!

How interesting! It looks like two trees fused together. And at the center it looks like a rabbit looking down. Do you see! Very unique and unusual! This piece would look great in black and white also!

pity you cut off the head of the tree, while there is a lot of negative space on the bottom
good light handling, angle of shot and focus
thanks for sharing

wow. get a view of those roots. Thanks for sharing this interesting scene with the tussocks of grass in the sandy soil, nicely encouraging the eye to the top of the photo. That tree and its exposed root system is awesome . It almost looks like some sculpture has been carved out of the wood. that would look great in the garden as a showpiece. Good angle used to capture the exposed roots and the tree top. Gives a feeling of depth of field to the scene. That soil / sand is such a rich reddish brown. and contrasts nicely with the background sky
Excellent lighting and exposure .. a nice sharp image with great clarity. Thanks for sharing this unusual tree with exposed roots. A pleasure to review cheers mel

Wow! This tree seems to be standing tall bearing all the brunt of nature's fury. Good observation. Excellent presentation! . You have framed it well. The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!

All is well with this image from hue colour which is warm, to the horizontal cut which works but why did you nip off the top of the tree...my eyes hunger for completion of this image.

Impressive capture!
An interesting initial impact.
An artistic rendition. Monochromatic colors. Excellent details & features. Impressive setting & textures.
But why crop the treetop?
Better crop the vast foreground than the significant height of the twin trunk!
A dramatic capture a good story telling factor.
Thanks for sharing...
