I love this scene. The female Cardinals have such a warmth in their colors. You have captured that perfectly...with just that hint of orangish red on her breast and the perfect showing of the red tips on her wings, tail and head...with just that bit of colorful eyeshadow.. Beautiful clarity and saturation throughout.
The bokeh bg is perfection. That bit of contrast with the bare branch almost as if it were drawn in with a pencil...it is that complimentary to the scene as a whole. The white snow is controlled in balance. A pleasure to view. Very nicely accomplished!

While she's not as spectacularly
colorful as her bright red male counterpart she's an attractive little bird in her own right and your photo of her huddling in the wintery brush makes for a really nice looking picture!

Barbara this is a beautiful portrait shot of this cardinal and the detail is excellent.
It's nice to see a female every now and then as they aren't as bright red as the typical bird we think of when we hear cardinal.
The clarity is excellent and the softness of the background really makes your bird stand out. I love the small touches of red in this and she looks beautiful with her feathers fluffed up. The tiny dried berries below her give this beautiful photo a little extra pizazz! Great job!
