It looks like such a peaceful place with the calm water and so many trees. All those trees make me worry about the type of arachnids that might dwell there! :) The reflection on the water gives the scene the feeling of a painting.

Well this is different from the grand landscapes in that it is smaller and seemingly intimate. You almost want to get across the lake and into the cabin to take a rest break. Very nice feel to this photograph. Reasons for my five star vote.

Very nice soft natural lighting with gorgeous shades of greens. Love the view of the cabin, but it is the water reflections that make this so special.

It is too bad that we can't both look at the image and discuss when we both see it. I am guessing you did not see everything I did in the frozen falls. No matter. I have a vivid imagination. But, think I could show you. This peace is very tranquil. Reflections are dispersed, so, the water is not totally calm. Nice composition and well framed. Sharp image. Thank you for sharing and best of luck with this image

Thank you Pam, I actually did see the old man in that waterfall and managed to see the face of a monkey too, you have such an imagination, it shows in all of your work, you create each scene where as I just have to photograph what nature creates for me!

A beautiful picture of Summit Lake with the trees along it's banks & the Log cabins tucked in between them. Sunlight filtering down through the canopy along with the trees & cabins are reflected onto the still waters of the lake. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
