Whoa! Now that I so love! More of this type(s). Love the colors! I can stare and stare at this. Gorgeous placement of all elements in this piece. Great landscape there and then this huge swirl up and up! More please. Thanks for this one.

First I would like to say, this is a lovely painting for the Moonlight contest.
I love the colors in the sky, along with all that beautiful blue.
The moon is painted so well, I really like it, seems so far away.

Annie, this post has almost made me cry.
Years ago when I worked in a place called Moose Factory Ontario (in Canada). I took an oil painting class.
I did a painting exactly like this one. I remember the teacher corrected my brush strokes around the curve of the lights as I didn't quite get it right. My oil painting was in long format.
So, for shaking me up this morning I give you a 6.

I painted a little many years ago but I quickly gave that up upon realizing he pencils and pens were more 'my thing'!
I'm certainly enjoying this interesting creation of your's,my friend!
I realize hat it depicts a 'natural' scene but what I like is the pleasantly mysterious Extra Natural one that the image emanates!

Well I like this one. The weave of the canvas is telling me it is a small painting, maybe a 5 by 7 inch size. Anyway, the composition is pleasant with the mist covered moon and aurora supported by the darker background. Nice placement of the trees. Reasons for my five star vote.

Very attractive rendition of this scene. Nice sense of movement good color. Moonlit night makes the tree silhouettes visible. Well done, even if it was a while ago.
