Very pretty photograph of a Lesser Redpoll. The diagonal of the branches frame him well and the soft focus around the edges lets your eyes focus on the bird. Nice soft colors. Very lovely capture.

Well shot image that captures the spirit and look of this darling little bird. I love the little red cap. Good color and focus. While I know it is a style of presentation, the heavy vignette is not my favorite for this.It seems very restrictive and in this case is also clipping the birds tail. I think a softer vignette could have worked to achieve the same feel. Nicely seen.

Thanks a million for your great review.
The birds tail was right up to the edge of the photo when I took it due to camera shake..ALL my pictures are hand held.
I don't own a tripod & with these fast moving birds it would not work, as you need to be able to be on the move all the time.
