Very effective flower tribute to the terrible disaster that occurred in Florida at the school. I like the simplicity of this which makes it all the more dramatic. Excellent detail as always with your wonderful cartoons with the expressions on the flower faces and their shadows on the background fence. I like that the background is uncluttered. Great composition. Suzanne

This is such an artistic tribute to the tragic event and the way most of us felt when we heard the news. The artistry is great, the expressions of the flowers is great, the entire work is done so well being simple yet delivering an important message.

A great piece from the ongoing Flower Power saga, depicting yet another moment of drama for a pair of the flower crew - this time with a very real and close to home no doubt reaction and reason behind it. A quite dark but blunt reminder of the things that happen in the modern day tragically, well expressed.

Ya. What a tragic event. Hell it turns our civilian live is more dangerous than being in a war zone. Or maybe the U.S. is turning into a war zone. I wonder where it will all end. I am not sure it will end well. Who knows? Great work Mark ~ Steve

loving the expression and the wonderful story. the pictures can indeed paint many, 100's of words. the feeling and vibe. yes such a tragic news and one that makes you want to disolve into the carpet. in this case a flower-bed.

I'm glad you didn't have a very detailed background allowing all of the interest to focus on the main characters. Their horror and sadness can certainly be seen in their expressions. Kinda want to see tears from both but maybe thats to much. Good use of lighting in this too. Great to have you back.
