I had a few minutes use of someone's computer so I sat here enjoying myself looking at almost every one of your posts you have posted here on FAR. I just fell in love with this piece....from the coloring [those wonderful shades of purples and grays], the clouds which seem to be like a fog starting to lift from the waters, the horizon that you can just get a glimpse of through the space where the fog has started to lift, the island itself and the beauty of how flat and not all jagged and edgy the surface of the island is which seems to be rocky (just what you have shown us) and how the water has filled up its indentions as the tides came crashing in and have now receded, the two pelicans in the distance, the rock that the three pelicans up close are sitting on, the three pelicans themselves and the detail you provided for each, the starfish that can be see through the clear waters just below the rock that the pelicans are sitting on, to the complete overall look which is so very clear....I cannot even come up with a word to describe what I am trying to say....crystal clear...smudgeless....a beauty beyond compare....{it is as if I could reach out and just grab a bird and bring it in here with me....life like... phenomenal...} this is stunning in every aspect. I would love to see it center attraction at some very exquisite gallery....I LOVE IT. You truly have some amazing talents that pour out to us in your vivid and some very powerful artwork and then there are the other artworks that are just simply gorgeous and then there are still other artworks of yours that makes me want to smile out loud when you share with us what you HAVE created on a computer screen by digital means....Because of your creativity you have enhanced the FAR website in every aspect. You are SPECIAL. Therefore, even though I am reviewing this one ART of yours, I am basically just writing to let you know how much I truly love your work and I think you are just a fantastic digital artist. Thank you for sharing. Thank you for being here. Thank you for letting me see into your world even if just one glimpse at a time. EXCELLENT. BRAVO BRAVO.....clap, clap, clap. What a wonderfully character rich digital creation full of rich texture, personal, depth and lovely varied color palette. Love the reflective accentuations, the poise of the front three, the clouds and the light in the distance is magical.

Kept skipping this one because the small thumbnail looked kind of blah with all that blue. Finally stopped and looked at the large picture. Glad I did. Think I learned something here. Don't disregard at first flush. This is beautifully done with the three white pelicans on the left with the dark background that fades into the lighter background on the right with those two distant pelicans. Just a tranquil and beautiful picture. Reasons for my five star vote.

a lovely scene of the pelicans resting after a day fishing, I like the use of light and shadow in this image, the light in the sky picks up the sheen on the rocks and water which has lovely texture, I like the placement of the pelicans
on the rock and the smaller pelicans near the
water which gives a sense of distance, the plumage on the pelicans is very detailed and also the beak and eye stand out really well, beautiful subtle colours, a very well done piece of art, good luck in the contest.

A nice work of digital art. It is interesting that these White Pelicans are here in Lake Chapala, Mexico. I have been trying to get a picture of them but as i only use an iPhone I just can't reach them. I like your work here as it represents their environment very well. A great entry for the contest. A nice work of digital art. It is interesting that these White Pelicans are here in Lake Chapala, Mexico. I have been trying to get a picture of them but as i only use an iPhone I just can't reach them. I like your work here as it represents their environment very well. A great entry for the contest.
