Brrr! What a Winter scene! Kind of what today looks like here; we do have the 80s though; nice dark rich tree colors; trees stand out nicely; brown branches break up the pic in a good way; I think dogs have a sense of where things are or where they were; good focus; take care.

Think you're right about the dog's sense swimmer......plus, Finnegan was just always so careful. A good girl. Do appreciate you having a look at this one and thank you again for such a wonderful rating for it. Warmer here today too....but I'm talking 40's not 80's lol That's OK though...snow still melts when it's in the 40's!!!

Snow's Ok if it's in moderation or there for a short time but you have had more than your share. Maybe, dogs know the difference b/w grass and plants.

I like this scene BB. It almost looks black and white until I see the touches of brown. I always love the evergreens blanketed in snow. Glad Finnigan was included in the scene. Nice one BB. Hope all is well. Darn internet here in Mexico is so spotty so i am glad to get this one reviewed for you. Later BB ~ BB

My internet has been so bad recently BB that ISP guy was here this morning checking my dish. He made a 'very slight' adjustment....LOL ...and I am so hoping that is really what the issue was. He didn't sound so sure. OMG! Anyway, glad that you had a look at this one. Thank you so much for the fine review. How was your weekend??

Beautiful, calm, and serene. I love black and whites, especially Winter scenes. It snowed in South Georgia this December for the first time in almost twenty years and lasted for almost four days. :) Well balanced, great lighting, and awesome editing.

This is beautiful, Deb. It looks like a Christmas card. The low angle looking up at the trees makes a wonderful composition and perfect framing. Nice work.

May be just a tad flat Karen but having Finnegan in it made all the difference to me. Thank you for giving it such a fine review. I do appreciate it.

Your notes add so much interest once again, Deb. Makes one anxious to see those tall perennials. Well composed as always with just the right framing and grouping of trees. Clarity is very good for an overcast day and emphasizes the feeling of cold. Love seeing Finnegan and hearing how smart he is. Ed.

A very nice "out of season" view. The flat lighting is particularly fitting to the snowy scene. It is very well composed with sharp details throughout.

I wasn't quite as pleased w/ the flat lighting in this piece MM....but it had Finnegan in it and THAT made me very happy. Do appreciate you checking it out and thank you for the very fine review you've given it.

'Way Cool',Deb!
This great looking picture makes me think of how I imagine the scene at the trail head, just beyond the mysterious deadfall, in Mr.King's novel 'Pet Semetary' ( one of he very best 'horror' novels ever written in my opinion! ) would look in late Winter!
One can almost hear soft noises that resemble far off singing echoing through the trees! : D

You know I have to double check whether I've read that one Sean. One summer a couple of years back I read every book of his my public library had in stock....and really enjoyed them all. There was one w/ a clown I remember being particularly creepy....lol He's got quite a mind that guy. Thank you so much for having a look at this one and I REALLY appreciate the wonderful review/rating....AND the S. King reference. I may never look at THIS bed again w/o thinking of it...lol

I remember reading his first novel 'Carrie' back in the Summer of '74 and thinking " Not bad but I bet we'll never hear about this guy again!" Wow,I was wrong on that call! : D

Well captured sense of place. The cold snowy overcast day with just a touch of color promising a new day and time. The snow dusting on the trees bring out the delicate shapes and forms. A bit gloomy and a bit flat, but that is winter. Well shot.

As I just mentioned to another reviewer Charles, I may have pushed my luck w/ the seriously overcast skies this day. I typically get a bit more 'zing' out of overcast winter skies. Anyway, do appreciate you checking it out and thank you so much for the generous review.
