a sweet and candid capture of the little girl enjoying herself on the swing, I like the conversion to black and white with the hat and eyes standing out in blue, it gives this a more innocent feel and draws the eye to the child's face,

What a precious capture you have here! Your capture is perfect in stop action clarity and has converted to B&W with a good balance of the series of grays. The complexion of the child is clear and light but not disturbed by reflections or shadows.. Well done on that face!~ The little hand hanging on to the swing is Adorable!
Your choice to use the plaid hat for the selective coloring is perfect...as it is also limited in shades of blue and white. It is subtle yet effective in this story of pure cuteness!
Excellent work and a wonderful feel good composition. Framing is a bit tight at the top in case someone wanted to mat and frame this...but that's the photographers prerogative.. PS lets you expand a frame. I use it all the time. Well done! Thank you for sharing! Such a pleasure to view!

Linda, she is such a cute little girl, I think you have stolen the moment from her by putting so much emphasis on the hat. If you wanted to do selective color I would have only done it on her eyes and really made them the center of attention.The basic picture is well done and shows her spirit. Let that shine through.

I love the way you have incorporated color into this black and white photo. It adds a very special dimension to the whole feel. I sometimes add color to my black and white drawings. It is fun. Great job. Fantastic eye on what makes a picture special.

Priceless photo. I'm sure this little girl will love this photo when she gets older and her parents love it now. It is so adorable with the expression on the little girl's face. The selection color of blue in the hat makes the photo pop. Very overall nice photo that is a pleasure to view.
