Very, very nice..shadowing is spot on and the expression on her face is priceless, You did a great job with this drawing..I think she would be proud of this portraiture of her..Great work..Keep it up..Thank you for sharing your art.

Nicely executed image. Great use of the medium materials that you worked in. I like the shading to bring out the structure and feel of this portrait. The background looks a lot like rising smoke, I am undecided how I feel about it. Seems a bit strong. Well done.

Because all of the other toned are muted or shaded, the bright almost white of the back ground stands out and almost has a halo effect as it totally surrounds the head and then quickly dies off. the brightness in her face is expected from the light source. I just think the shading behind her could be a little more subtle, but I also , as a lighting designer, understand the need to make her stand out from the back ground. Mind you this is all IMHO
