I waited a bit before making this a 6. I had looked and looked at this to see what it was that made it a 6 in reviewing and there it was, the head tilted like that and the eye also! Love that BG color. Beautiful again and again!

The bird has a very special pose, and it is true that the head looks too heavy for it. I like very much the green background, and the Ibis is standing out from it in an excellent way.
Your photo is also nice and sharp showing such clear and well defined details in every part of the bird, and the exposure is perfect.
The format you have cropped the photo into works well, and the bird has got a good placement within the frame. Indeed a lovely and well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF.

A beautiful composition that makes the most of that long curved bill. The colors are very good and while I like the catchlight in the eye it seems a little inconsistent with the lighting.
