Wat een leuke foto van uw hondje. Het lijkt me een schrander beestje als ik haar kopje zie. Ik hou van honden , ik heb 2 honden die ik ook veel fotografeer. Prima werk.

A lovely capture of juno as she stares outside at the snow, she has beautiful soulful eyes with a great reflection in them,
Her personality and lovely nature really shine through in this photograph, nice focus and clarity taken with excellent camera techs, I still laugh at the pee mails!
Good contest entry. Good luck.

Susan, I think you have done a good job of capturing the spirit and character of this dog. Good focus and details especially in the eye area. Compositionally the blanket that comes up under its chin bothers me. You probably cant do anything about it but it breaks the shape of the head. Well seen.

What a lovely candid portrait of this dog. He looks very focused. Is he dreaming of a walk? The eye is captured really well and I like the close crop composition.

I love how your filled your frame with that gorgeous pet of your's Madame Juno. You have captured her excitement and spirit of personality so well with this capture. Superb eye clarity! Nice is the expression and emotion captured on that gorgeous dog of yours. I think your low perspective is aiding in your composition. Very well photographed with good focus and nice details. This is very nice work and thanks for sharing.

    Mary Lynn,
Thanks a million for your complementary review on Madame Juno~Dog gazing out at the snow. I held the camera in my left hand the lens through the back of the chair...not knowing what I'd get until I looked after the picture was taken.

Hi Susan thanks for sharing this beautiful photo of your lovely Juno.. Oh such a cute face to review. She looks like such a loving girl with those big brown eyes staring intently at something that has taken her interest outside. I can almost see her nostrils trying to sniff out what ever that something may be.. Love how her ears are gently folded downward over her forehead.. shows me she doesn't feel at all threatened by what she is looking at.. just intrigued.. Her facial markings around her nose give her extra character and provide a lovely contrast to her deep black head of hair.. Your sharply focused photo even shows off the occasional grey hair on her pretty little face.. Those soft white whiskers under her nose and around her mouth add to her beauty.. I see the light reflecting in her eye .. makes it even brighter and a real focal point ... The collar around her neck tells me she is a pet whose owner cares for her well.. as does her nice clean coat of fur that spreads over her neck and body.. with its whitish hue and occasional shadows of black markings blended throughout.
Intellegence shines through her eyes. I imagine Juno is a very obedient girl who offers unconditional love always. her fur coat looks so soft and it makes me want to reach out and pat her.. That inquisitive face showing off her true beauty touches my heart .. and I think she is deserving a big hug too. well balanced photo that has a warm and embracing feeling running from within. thanks for sharing Juno... she has been a true joy to review. cheers mel

    Mel,
Thanks a million for your complementary detailed & thoughtful review on my beloved Madame Juno~Dog who will be celebrating her 14th Birthday in June!!! I rescued her aged about 5/6 weeks from the Dog Pound...she had been abandoned in the street. A tiny little mite with spindly legs & an ever wagging tail. We think she is part Wicklow Collie, part Springier Spaniel & part Jack Russell Terrier....with a wonderful friendly disposition. I call her a Rathfarnham Terrier (I live in the Dublin suburb of Rathfarnham village)
Thanks a gain from Juno & Me!
