Very nice and expressive piece. My first impression was of a bat flying through the night. Then on closer review I realized it was a fallen angel or warrior gathering its strength to take on the next challenge. The careful details included allow the viewer to fill in the story. The stormy background works nicely to set the stage in this imaginative work. Well done!

Excellent choice of a fallen subject creating a clear storyline.

An interesting initial impact.
An artistic rendition. Monochromatic backdrop colors.
I like the one sided illumination.
But you have blown out the far end of his right wing...
