I love this! Very well photographed, well focused , the image is clear, well exposed, beautiful natural colors and tones of this Rose and bud, well placed in frame, the reflection gives an artistic feel, it's very well composed and presented and was a pleasure to view!

As a flower shot its quite nice,however its the reflection that really makes this one,and the nice subtle use of color also gives this an edge,different view for a flower and it works..Brian

Very nice still life of a resting and reflected rose. I would have preferred the light more on the rose and less on the bud. This would bring out the color little more and probably brighten the reflection a little. Good color and the reflection is well handled. Nice image.

Aptly captured for the contest theme...
An interesting initial impact.
Dramatic one sides illumination highlighting softly while casting faint shadows.

Sharply focused.
Fine floral features & soft velvety textures.

Ideal framing but better if petal tips were not cropped...;-)

Excellent entry for the contest. Beautiful capture of the lovely Rose and its clear reflection. I like that you included the bud, too. Love the angle you used, looking into the centre of the Rose, showing all the intricate twists and curls of the petals. Lighting and focus very good showing excellent clarity.
