Nice colorful presentation of the flowers in the garden with good representational strokes. Color is strong but detailed. You could also see this as blown glass flowers glistening in the light. Well done.

Well early Happy Mother's Day to you Suzanne! Just love what you've been inspired to do w/ your son's lovely bouquet of flowers to you....and how interesting that this was partly achieved w/ a feather! You are one talented Lady.
The colors are just amazing!! I'm sure it must have been the feather....perhaps dipped in white paint that gave you that wonderful depth from the center of the blossoms out through to the edge of the petals?? Oh I just love it....as well as the variety of color you've used to represent your blossoms. What a bright....cheerful...pretty piece it is Suzanne. You have definitely brightened up my day....and my mood this afternoon. I would much rather look at THIS than the never ending snow outside MY windows.
Well done here my friend. Gets one of my gold stars!

Really lovely. I love the colors and the textures. A feather? If it were a photograph, I would refer to the fill the frame composition which gives us a close up of these beautiful flowers. Hope your Mothers Day was great in every way.

Thank you so much for your lovely review. Yes, thank you, I had a lovely Mother's Day with some of my grandchildren and my daughter who lives in Australia and my eldest son who lives down South both rang and sent presents too. I ended up playing with PlayDo with my two youngest grandchildren who live not far from me - great fun! Suzanne

The pinks and oranges and the blues in the larger poppy type flowers and the purples in the smaller flower the white flower in top left all come together just beautifully ! I love it !
