Oh the very lovely LOTUS bud looks stunning here and it's a wonderful entrant for this contest.

Love the up close and tight format....the crisp focus showing just exquisite detail in those yet to open petals. The colors are gorgeous. Made quite a statement here w/ your lovely LOTUS bud you. Vertical presentation was the way to go too.

very nice clarity on this Lotus bud. I am diggin' the sweet DOF and the sharp details on this lone bud.
The colors are lovely and the way it comes in on a slight diagonal is superb.
Focus, white balance and placement within the frame are all handled well.
