Nicely seen photo this of an ordernary subject, how many of us would have taken this one,not many I bet, think a person on this might have improved it a bit,but maybe not, certainly b/w works much better for this..Brian

This is a great contest entry. I love the angle of looking down and the reflections that you captured in the walls of the escalator. The choice to make it in black and white is a good one. Good luck in the contest.

I like this for two reasons. The first is because I believe black and white always shows every part of an object. The 2nd reason is that when I look at it I wonder how many have been up and down this and what the individuals go through each day. This to me is a great piece!

Nice. Interesting focus of lines and reflecting light. Well balanced composition. Lines are mesmerizing kinda looks like a metal sculpture.

Metallic and mysterious!!!!
I especially love the glare along the sides it captures - it just adds to the journey down this escalator - or the journey-to-come.
I love that you're not afraid to take photos of things perhaps others may not think of - bringing it value!

Clever perspective and unique entry for this contest.
I love your black and white choice, great POV leading us down and the soft reflections on the sides framing it all out.
Love the lead in step converting our eyes straight down.
Nice work!

I think you are correct. To date I cannot think of a single escalator with a down perspective - Kudos for a little bit of "out of the box" effort.
B&W is a good choice here - lots of monochrome metal.
A good visual impression of a diminishing perspective.
Camera technique is without flaw. DOF is deep from the top to the bottom.
What really gets my attention is the framing. No clutter, simple and clean.
Well done, and a good entrant for this contest ... B-)) Bob

A very nice perspective looking down this escalator. The black and white presentation tends to emphasize the lines. Good luck in the contest.
