This is just adorable. This stirs up some memories of yesteryear for me. The wide eyed wonder in his eyes make this piece memorable. Incredible detail in his eyes and almost reflections can be seen. Nicely done work!!

They're luminous with gem-like transparency!
Why do you have so many freckles?
Is that Caucasian pigmentation?
Will it disappear as you grow older?

Very good entry for the contest. Excellent drawing with your graphite pencils. I like the way the hair curls across the forehead and the freckles sprinkled acrossthe nose and cheeks with the mischievous eyes lighting up the face. Very good light and shading. I like how you filled the frame. Good luck in the contest. Suzanne
