This is beautiful! You captured the lovely swirling colors of the Aurora in the sky above the colorful lights of the city. It must have been amazing to see this in person! A great entry for the contest! Best of luck!

The colors are fabulous. I wish the clarity of the aurora light was sharper, but the shape and the starlight sky look great. The entire part of this city seems to have a ton of lights! What I can see of the reflections on the water appear very colorful. It would be nice to see this in person!

Wow! Awesome capture. Ilove the way the lights just float across the sky. I see these light in pictures and movies but I can only imagine how spectacular they would be in real time. Amazing the size of the lights compared to the lights on the ground. Very nice.

I always like you Northern Lights scenes. This one is particularly eye catching as the soft pastels of the wavy lights are in sharp contrast with the bright dramatic lights of the bridge and city skyline. A great entry for the contest. Best of luck ~ Steve

These must be quite unique to see and almost impossible to get better renditions on camera, one of those things that are better being there.
Stil its still a good shot of these and contrasts with the lights below quite well...Brian

A beautiful display of the northern lights. Their color is beautiful and their flowing form is graceful. I might consider burning in the city lights a little.

Great shot of the aurora itself. You really capture the color and movement and cropped to just that this would work very well as an abstract as well. It is nice having the city below except it is so bright and glaring that it distracts from the shot. You might be able to tone it back which would also bring out some of the details. Good job.

Fred,
A magical moving spectacle in the night sky above Tromso in shades of pink & green glowing in the darkness of the night sky above the twinkling lights of Tromso below. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Beautiful Aurora ! Very well captured! Stunning colors in this display, I love the way they reach down and across the sky! I love the city lights below the Northern Lights! This is very well photographed and presented.
