Great contest entry, these soaps look so pretty and very colourful, I think the uniformity of the different soaps adds to this photograph which has been well framed for maximum impact.

The first thing that caught my eye is the framing. Random variations in color and design with a notable strip of larger carvings occupying the center. Nice use of the rule of thirds in vertical presentation.

Colors are bright, bold and 'Happy".

The black background provides a sharp contrast that is pleasing to the viewer.

Lighting is even and compliments the colors of the soaps.

Awesome! It looks like a field of birthday cupcakes. Such wonderful details, delicate petals, bright colors. Great depth and POV. My sister is a licence soap maker and creates her own fragrances for the soaps.
