This is definitely colorful and is a good entry for the contest. The carvings are beautiful and you have captured them well. Good exposure and color. You possible could have gotten a tighter shot which would have made them more visible. Well seen and well taken. Good Luck!

How very detailed and colorful these soaps are. That takes real artistic talent. I have seen many carvings of many things around the world and this is the first time I have seen soap. Great. A perfect entry for the color contest. Best of the best Fred ~ Steve

Almost look like cakes these,although if its soap you certainly would not want to taste them,good to get photos of market stalls wherever you go,good colorfull image this and well worth taking..Brian

Hi there supergold, wow now this is definitely one very colourful and happy photo you have captured. What a beautiful display of these many and varied soap carvings.. The skill level behind this work is amazing.. each soap takes on its own personality.. the fine detail of all the flower petals in ever single soap is stunning .. Every bloom is unique and represents many and varied flowers that nature brings us.. so many familiar blooms amongst them. daisies, pansies, chrysanthemums, camellias and of course, many other varieties.. The intense colours are truly eye catching and the arrangement with the flower soaps encased in circular boundaries , makes a nice contrast in shape to those which are not encased.. The whole scene has such a happy and cheerful emotion emanating from within. the black background upon which they are displayed really makes them pop nicely.. wonderful presentation to dazzle the eye... thanks for sharing this array of stunning beauty.. made by talented artists in Thailand. I think I would preserve the soap- it is too pretty and enjoyable to wash away down a drain if used for intended purposes.. great entry for the colour contest and a joy to review.. excellent exposure , great angle used to capture the shapes of the individual flower soaps.. and spot on focus.. cheers mel

Fred,
First this show me they love bright colours & are expert at making colourful soap in layered so they can then be carved with great skill to make these life like flowers. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

After a few sangsom however, although I'm sure you're wise enough for it not to even cross your mind, these don't taste as good as they look ;) A wonderful, well lit and sharp capture taken from a great POV and filling the piece with a multitude of colours and decorations, floral in design but with that extra colour that only a tasty piece of hand carved soap can make you froth at the mouth for lol ;) Excellent artistic and bold and varied, colourful piece - great capture and strong entry for the competition, best of luck! :)
