I love this looking up view of the beautiful palm trees, this is well photographed with good clear focus, nice detail throughout, I love the way the branches frame the beautiful blue sky! Very interesting that they remove the coconuts to avoid accidents. Very well presented and I like the informative notes too!

Wow a shot I have been wanting to get forever. This is simply beautiful. I love the angle of the shot where you get some beautiful blue sky with a hint of fluffy white clouds. Gorgeous.
I always worry about coconuts falling. I never knew that people were killed from falling coconuts. Certainly makes sense though.
Beautiful.

Wow I never knew that. I guess it makes sense considering how hard they probably are. I guess it's a good thing that they are removed here. You know now that I think about it, I don't think I have ever seen coconuts on any of the palm trees here in California. I guess maybe that's why they take them off, it certainly makes sense. Now to your photo since I have rambled. I really like how you are looking up, creating a very unique angle. It must be a nice view to look up and see this. Maybe I will have a similar view to capture when I go to Hawaii towards the end of the year. Thanks for sharing this fun photo with us :)

if you see any coconut trees in California it would mean that you're dreaming of a beautiful island in the sun where to be with your lover.....LOL.
coconut trees don't grow in California......only date palms which in contrast to coconut palms require low humidity;
many thanks again

I had never given consideration to the issue of falling coconuts. My how this site opens your imagination. A very nice shot with good colors and sharp focus on the palm fronds.

A very nice looking up shot, reminds me of Guam, we had a airmen killed by a coconut falling, glad to hear there are some places that remove them for safety, like the textures and details , a pleasure to look at, thank you for sharing, dale

Fred,
A beautiful view you had from your sunbed on Samui Island looking up into the cloudless blue sky framed by the Coconut-less Coconut Palm Trees above you. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Ha. Now this looks familiar. I am currently in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and this is a familiar sight. There are however plenty of coconuts around. Good angle with the greens and the blue sky. Nice work ~ Steve

Love this angle that you sot this from. It reminds me of a postcard. The sky is framed nicely with the palm trees. Good lighting, exposure, framing and focus.
