Hey , I'd like to rename your road !
Deborah's river cry , because every time Deb sees it she cries .
You have really captured the essence and the true meaning of Mile Of Mud .
Excellent composition and presentation .
Thank you for sharing !

I may have cried the first year John but now it is just a fact of life that every year before the flowers come I must put up w/ the mud. Am very glad to know my image here shows exactly what I wanted it to....the muddy mess on the way to Deborah's little slice of heaven lol Thank you for having a look!

I may enjoy riding/driving on this but my parents wouldn't; like the snow how it guards the cars from going off; nice dark "road."; the bright trees at the end add a bit of spark and brighten up the whole pic; good job on the lighting; good clarity; like the depth look; kudos! Take care.

The snowbanks were much higher just a month or so ago Swimmer.....I like it too that I can't ever skid off my road when it's icy. HAVE skidded off on the 4Wheeler though...in the mud...lol Thank you so much for checking this one out and do really appreciate the gold star! You are a peach!!

Us too, It can't decide whether to be warm or cold. 40's in the morning then 80 degrees then 50 degrees. Top it all off with tons of pollen and the pounds of rain over the weekend.
Wait...what do I see on the left side in the back...sun? Maybe you can put down some old wooden pallets to drive on. Or a horse or mule.
(50 ways to leave your drive way)...

LOL...good eye Linda...that is a ray of sunshine your eagle eye spotted....it DID come out briefly.....VERY briefly. As for the pallet idea....OMG Toots...a mile of pallets??? lol Your horse or mule idea would be better....unless they sank down through and ended up in China. LOL I am losing my mind I think. Thank you for the very fun review. Appreciate the smiles here today!

So, what week of the year is spring and summer before winter returns? Personally, I find the image humorous. Because it isn't me. You know the old Quaker saying if "Better tenths me"? Well there is a perfect example.

Hey. It is a great image. And, I am sorry you are suffering through this. But, it will improve.

Oh believe me, I laugh at it too Paul. Better than crying...lol This happens every year.....I'm pretty used to it by now and don't freak out anymore. Besides...next comes FLOWERS!! Thank you so much for having a look. I'm afraid I don't understand the Quaker saying though..wait, wait. Does it mean 'better than me'??? LOL Of course it does! ...and you're right.

It is that way at my place too. Tonight we are supposed to get a little snow for a change, but looking forward it seems like mud will be featured prominently in the weather forecast. A nice enough shot from a technical perspective, though not an aesthetically pleasing look at reality.

LOL...no, not aesthetically pleasing MM. I'll give you that for sure. Do try to document my road each Mud Season so I can get the Town to come in w/ their grader once it dries up. The ruts from my 4-wheeler are awful! Do appreciate you having a look. Thank you so much and hope your mud won't be as desperate as it is here...lol

This is a nice shot, it looks like it shows different stages of snow from the fresh white to the muddied. The road shows the wear and tear of life of cars, trucks and people. It is framed and in stark contrast to the white snow and the background trees which are free of snow. Obviously the snow has been around a while. Great POV with excellent clarity and color. Good DOF and visual impact. Well done. ~Alveria

Oh no cars on my road Alveria. I am the only one who lives down here and have always left the car out at the far end during Mud Season. The muddied snow is from the 4-wheeler throwing mud around as I go by....lol...it is a VERY messy ride for sure. Thank you so much for the fine review you've given this piece. Do appreciate it.

That explains the deep tire tracks. :)
