Like the textures and colors and death you have captured in this flower about to open, like the dark boarder and the flowers behind adds depth, a pleasure to look at, thank you for sharing, dale

Wow! What a beautiful photo of a beautiful flower! The fine detail in the flower provides great texture. I love the bokeh background giving it depth. Composition is great as well. Excellent photo!

Great capture, Deborah, showing the lovely Oriental Poppy about to burst out. I used to have some of these in my garden but they haven't survived in my present garden. Love all the different shades of green in this. Excellent lighting and focus showing great detail. Lovely composition. Suzanne

Cool,Deb!
Georgia O'Keefe? She was the one that critics liked to say had some kind of a
'Vaginal' hang-up associated with her Flower paintings, right? ( And she'd never admit it,but those were painfully 'conservative' times! )
Anyway,I can readily make out an almost Erotic look in this fine picture and I'm grooving on it's 'Classic' Red n' Green coloration theme too!
A very 'Good Show' my friend! : )

Lol! People over at one of the Groups on DeviantArt,com used to discuss O'Keffe's ( alleged! ) Psycho Sexual/'Closet Lesbian' 'hang ups' endlessly,Deb! I never really knew that much about her or her art but now as soon as I here mention of her that idea springs to mind! ( Those devils WARPED ME! : D )

Oh these guys are available everywhere Linda. Hardy and easy to grow. You'd love them in your gardens. There are images of them fully blossomed in my portfolio so see can see what you'd be getting first. Thanks so much for checking out this guy. I do appreciate it.

Love these progressive blooming shots. You should try to do a collage sometime of it. This one is so neat and tickles the imagination in anticipation of the full bloom. Nice inclusion of the blurred background bloom to balance out the composition. Looking forward to blooming season :). Ed.
