I love the beautiful mermaid with her look of accomplishment in destroying the ships and all who were on them. She's cruel that way. Nice shapes and presentation. great waves in the water. And I love the expression on her face. Very nice.

Wow! What a piece! The look on her face, you can tell that she's just waiting for another sailor ship to come. Maybe she could have been a little bigger? To bring more focus on her? But overall very nice too look at. Very well done! It really tells a story. Thank you for sharing! :D

You're welcome. I really like your art. I wish I can draw the figures like you do. They never turn out like I see them in my head. You have a gift ;D

Love this one, James. The composition and story-telling is amazing with the stormy waters and clouds, one sinking ship and the other one looks like it is having trouble. Love the mermaid sitting on the rock looking forlorn. Nice colors....I especially like the emerald green color.

This is an awesome work of art, there is so much detail to look at here! I love the mermaid as she sits on the rock, luring the sailors to her, the ships being tossed in the angry sea.good choices of the colors and I really like the way you give this scene depth! Very well presented and a pleasure to view!

I thought it was the "red sky in the morning" that made the sailors take warning, but I suppose a mermaid might do the trick also. She seems to have the same effect on the sailors as the siren Circe.

Hi James!
The image looks fine as far as I'm concerned,my friend!
The picture reminds me of the Sorceress and daughter of the Gods,Circe, from Greek mythology! : )
'Good Show',buddy!

This is a wonderful depiction of the mythological mermaid whose irresistible songs have lured many a sailor to his death among the rocky cliffs of the mermaid lair. You have told an enchanting story with this piece.

A great bout of the box creation.
Impressive rendition.
Cool hues of blues & greens.
Mythical concept of mermaids sinking those boats whose sailors are not respectful of the sea routes they're plying...
